Preperation of Railway track drawings from verbal descriptions/rough sketches. Oversee indexing, filing and issuing drawings/documents in accordance with Quality System. Preperation of technical drawings with attention to detail and compliance to appropriate design standards. Coaching/guiding junior staff. Develop /implement Company procedures for CAD drawings. Qualifications: Matric with Maths and or Science 5 years experience in a civil engineering design office/drawing office. Draughting Diploma/Certificate an advantage. Extensive knowledge of AutoCad/Microstation, Windows, Excel, Word and Reg. Ability to work independently according to budget/client needs/Quality System. Ability to handle pressure/ delivery of targets/own initiative, team player. Good interpersonal/organisational skills. Valid driver's license.Permanent position. Senior Environmental Consultant - Cape Town
Multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering firm has a vacancy for a Senior Environmental Consultant who has a passion for the environment and resource management. Various environmental projects including EIA, EMP's, IWMP's, client liaison, cleaner production and sustainability reporting. You would be required to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team. Qualifications: MSc or BSc (Honours) Environmental/Natural Science. Minimum of 6-8 years experience, proven track record as a Project Manager, advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent report writing and presentation skills. Pr.Sci.Nat registration will be an advantage.
